“Nobel Laureates and their Expectations for the Large Hadron Collider”

Conversational Partners are Chief Scientific Officer of CERN, Jos Engelen and LHC Project Leader, Lyn Evans of CERN and those Nobel Laureates who are currently attending the conference in Lindau and whose scientific work is relevant to the development and aims of the LHC.
The following Nobel Laureates will be present: David Gross, Carlo Rubbia, George Smoot, Jack Steinberger, Gerard 't Hooft and Martin Veltman.

The scientists will be sharing accounts of the LHC. A videoconference with the CERN Control Centre will give participants a view into the nerve centre of the LHC, with an update of where commissioning stands.

Media are welcome in Lindau and at CERN, and there will be an opportunity for discussion (in English).
