TEVATRON
The 2 TeV proton-antiproton collider at Fermilab, currently the world’s highest-energy accelerator. At the Tevatron, two large general purpose detectors, CDF (www-cdf.fnal.gov) and D0 (www-d0.fnal.gov), are studying the particles of the standard model and looking for new physics beyond it. CDF and D0 discovered the top quark.
