In celebration of #DarkMatterDay, we have asked physicists from laboratories and experiments across Europe, who are doing research into dark matter, to answer all your questions. They will meet live on Twitter/X on 9 November 2:00 PM CET for a live audio broadcast, in which we will talk about what dark matter is, why we believe it exists, and we will present the main experimental efforts aimed at observing it.
The event will be hosted by CERN with INFN – the Italian National Institute for Nuclear Physics, CNRS/IN2P3 – the French ‘Institut national de physique nucléaire et de physique des particules’, CHIPP – the Swiss Institute of Particle Physics, Nikhef – the Dutch National Institute for Subatomic Physics; and the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
Use the hashtag #AskAPhysicist and tell us what you want to know.
