This day is celebrated with the aim of raising awareness about dark matter, one of the greatest challenges for the scientific community, as we can observe its effects but do not yet understand its nature.
The Planetarium of Castelló is once again organizing the events to celebrate this day in Castelló de la Plana on Saturday, October 31, 2025.
The activity has two parts:
5:00 PM – Free full-dome screening of Phantom of the Universe in the planetarium’s dome theater.
6:30 PM – Lecture by Alberto Aparici, researcher and science communicator, titled: “The Strange Case of Fuzzy Dark Matter”.
Free admission until full capacity is reached. No prior registration is required, but invitations must be collected at the Planetarium’s ticket office. The language for the show an the lecture is spanish.
This screening will replace the one originally scheduled for 5:00 PM on that Friday.
